Mountain, Dearborn & Whiting LLP will, once again, sponsor the Emerald Club’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Gala on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 6:00 p.m., at Polar Park. The Emerald Club is dedicated to raising funds for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. The Club was founded in the 1950’s by several prominent Irish-Americans, including former Worcester Mayor James D. O’Brien, Sr. His son, James D. O’Brien, Jr., one of the firm’s partners, served as President of the Club in the 1980’s. The firm’s commitment to the Emerald Club continued with another partner, Paul C. Foley, acting as President from 2015-2017.
The Emerald Club’s primary, long-time beneficiary is the Mercy Centre on Chester Street in Worcester, a school and life program for adults with developmental disabilities. For more details, please click here.
