Ryan P. Donahue
Associate
Ryan Donahue is an experienced litigator in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, including criminal charges, divorce, paternity, and civil disputes such as personal injury claims, Chapter 93A consumer protection cases, and restraining orders. In addition to his private practice, Ryan serves as a special prosecutor for the Worcester District Attorney’s Office in select cases.
A Worcester native, Ryan began his legal career in 2010 as an Assistant District Attorney for Worcester County. He spent several years in the office’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit, where he prosecuted some of the most serious and complex cases involving vulnerable victims. His work included numerous jury trials on charges such as rape, abuse of children, and other violent offenses. Over the course of his time as a prosecutor, Ryan managed hundreds of cases from arraignment through trial in both District and Superior Court. This experience gives him a deep understanding of how the government builds cases—and how to dismantle them through strategic negotiation or skilled trial advocacy.
Before joining Mountain Dearborn in 2022, Ryan worked at a Boston-based general practice firm, where he represented clients in a broad spectrum of family law and civil litigation matters in addition to criminal defense. His extensive courtroom experience, and practical judgment make him a trusted advocate across multiple areas of the law.
